Phenterthin Spam Email

Well, just as with Anatrim; I'm starting to receive spam emails about Phenterthin.

Here is an email I just received a few minutes ago:

Phenterthin

Phenterthin, too good to be true? Probably.

Haven't heard of Phenterthin yet? Well it seems to be just like Anatrim was last year... a "magic" diet pill, appetite suppressant, helping you to lose weight.

Some of the claims:

"Is the #1 selling female appetite suppressant, fat burner in America!"

"Phenterthin is a new diet pill that can help increase your metabolic rate safely to achieve this objective. Suppress your appetite and Increase Your Your Metabolic Rate With Phenterthin."

Pretty big claims.

I'm not going to say it works, or that it doesn't work... I haven't tried it and I don't know anyone who has. If anyone reading this blog has tried it, please do leave a comment on the effectiveness of Phenterthin, I'm sure a lot of people would love to know how it's working out for others.

Lot's of emails, no details...

Well it's been a couple of months since my last post here... sorry about that.

I must admit that my hunt for Anatrim info hasn't been much of a success. At first I though there might be something worth looking into here, but I soon lost hope once the spam emails kept coming but the info and results weren't.

An old post, relevant once again

Not long ago I posted a few links to popular online retailers that had products similar to Anatrim (well they promise the same effects anyway).

After yesterday's post I concluded that this would probably be a good idea. So I'll just post a few links here, if you want you can look through the older posts for more links.

Anatrim = Hoodia?

Ieva was kind enough to leave a few comments on the last post, including links to sources of medical journals and info.

I've browsed through some of these sites looking for more info on Anatrim in general... no surprises here, I couldn't find any. It's also become very clear that anytime I search for words like "gordonii" and "South African Cactus" that I'll get loads of info on Hoodia Gordonii.

So it seems to be a logical question, is Anatrim just Hoodia repackaged? I don't know for sure because I don't have any significant info on Anatrim. The little bits of info we can all find publicly available point in this direction.

Any thoughts on this? If this turns out to be the case, maybe I should concentrate more on publishing Hoodia info rather than Anatrim info.

So what's going on?

It's been 2 weeks since I've started this blog. The reason I started it is because of the fantastic things I've heard about Anatrim. I was hoping to find more legitimate information and maybe even comments from Anatrim users who can confirm or dispel the claims.

Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of looking, I haven't been able to unearth any new information. All I seem to find is the same marketing material from site to site. I've even seen the odd email in my inbox mentioning Anatrim... no surprises here, they also use the same marketing text.

As I mentioned before, my search is nowhere near over, heck it's hardly started. I do have to admit that it isn't looking too good. I think the problem is with the marketers and spam email rather than with the product itself though. I'm sure that there would be a lot more relevant information available if only we could get through the clutter/spam!

So I guess if there is someone out there who has actually tried it, enlighten us with a comment. Even if you know of a discussion board or forum where Anatrim users have discussed their success/failure with Anatrim...

If you're not really sure about Anatrim

If you're not really sure whether you want to try Anatrim just yet (you're not the only one), a popular alternative is Hoodia. Not long ago I put up a link to a reputable online store for Hoodia and since a lot of visitors are checking them out I figured it would be a good idea to offer a few more alternatives. Also some of these sites have other products and weight loss info so I suggest you check them all out... if for no other reason then simply for the different points of view.

Anatrim, is it even a real plant?

Anatrim, apparently derived from the "Anatrim Gordonii" plant of South Africa is said to have an impressive ability to suppress the appetite of those who use it.

It sounds good but what exactly is "anatrim gordonii"? I've been looking for information but the only info that comes up is from websites that are either promoting Anatrim, or sites like this one, trying to figure out what Anatrim is and whether it really works.

When I search for just "gordonii" I find more information, mostly for Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia is another appetite suppressant that is quite popular and seems to have a large user base and several variations available.

My guess is that "Anatrim Gordonii" is supposed to be a spin-off of "Hoodia Gordonii" trying to capitalize on Hoodia's success. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know but as things stand, there isn't a whole lot of real info available just yet. Keep your eye on this blog for more info... as it becomes available.

Too much spam!

As you already know (if you read this blog), I'm on a mission to find out what Anatrim is and how (or if) it works. Now I have to admit that when I first started looking for info there wasn't much of it to be found...

Now, after a couple of weeks... there still isn't any substantial info on Anatrim! In fact, the more I search the more I notice all the Anatrim spam finding it's way into my mailbox, not to mention the hundreds of "fly by night" websites pushing Anatrim like there's no tomorrow!

Since I still can't find any significant data or REAL Anatrim testimonials from ordinary people who are trying to lose weight, I can't be too sure about the effectiveness of anatrim yet. I'm still looking though.

Anatrim alternative?

I figured since most people reading this blog (and the guy writing it) are interested in losing a couple of pounds and probably want to see a few other options, I've been doing some digging for alternatives to Anatrim.

Now, since most diet/weight loss products make outrageous claims, I tend to be very skeptical and maybe lose out on an opportunity to try something that might actually help. I've been hearing a lot of good things about a product called hoodia. Mind you, I've also heard not so great things, like it doesn't work and that it's a rip off.

Well I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with a lot of the stories I've heard about hoodia based products. I tend to find the more "normal" personal experiences of people who have lost 10 lbs, 15 lbs and so on... and there are a lot of them so I'm fairly convinced that this could really help a lot of people lose weight if used as directed.

One website in particular got my attention: Vital Body Fitness

They seem to be successful and popular. I haven't seen anyone giving them bad feedback either, so that's a promising sign. I personally think it's worth trying, especially considering the prices are reasonable.

If anyone would like to shed some light on the hoodia topic, leave a comment.

To Anatrim or not to Anatrim... that is the question!

For the last couple of days I've been scavenging for more info and real testimonials from those who have used the product but just about everything I've been able to find is either marketing material or "heard it from a friend" experiences...

So I'll need your help if I'm going to get some real feedback up on this blog, if YOU have tried Anatrim then please leave a comment on this post and let the rest of know if it's worth a shot!

To me it looks like it's success is going to be due more to marketing than results, but I could be wrong. I've managed to find a few folks comment on getting results, although short term. Oh well, let's see if anyone can shed some light on this product.
